What is Asthma?
Asthma is a common lung condition that causes occasional breathing difficulties.
It affects people of all ages and often starts in childhood, although it can also develop for the first time in adults.
There’s currently no cure, but there are simple treatments that can help keep the symptoms under control so it doesn’t have a big impact on your life.
Symptoms
The main symptoms of asthma are:
● Wheezing (a whistling sound when breathing) ● Breathlessness ● A tight chest, which may feel like a band is tightening around it ● Coughing
The symptoms can sometimes get temporarily worse. This is known as an asthma attack.
Several conditions can cause similar symptoms, so it’s important to get a proper diagnosis and correct treatment.
Your GP will usually be able to diagnose asthma by asking about symptoms and carrying out some simple tests.
Treatments
The main types are:
● Reliever inhalers – used when needed to quickly relieve asthma symptoms (salbutamol) ● Preventer inhalers (steroid) – used every day to prevent asthma symptoms occurring ● Some people also need to take tablets.
Causes and triggers
Asthma is caused by swelling (inflammation) of the breathing tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs. This makes the tubes highly sensitive, so they temporarily narrow.
It may occur randomly or after exposure to a trigger. Common asthma triggers include:
● Allergies – to house dust mites, animal fur or pollen, for example ● Smoke, pollution and cold air ● Exercise ● Infections like colds or flu ● Identifying and avoiding your asthma triggers can help you keep your symptoms under control
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. The following side effects may happen with this medicine:

Do not take this medicine if you have a severe heart or liver problem, have to use other medicines where it may cause side effects, or if you have a low level of potassium in your bloodYou should not use this medicine for a long time if you have asthma, or for a high blood pressure if you have one.

What is Ventolin Evohaler? What isVentolin, or salbutamol, and what makes it so effective? Ventolin is a bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and increasing the amount of air that goes into your lungs. The drug is used to treat asthma and other respiratory conditions. In fact, it is a medication for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Ventolin is a combination of two drugs, salbutamol and nebulized albuterol. The combination is effective for relieving symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing. This combination is typically prescribed in patients who have been diagnosed with bronchospasm, COPD, or asthma by a physician.
Ventolin is available in both a dry powder inhaler and an oral solution, and comes in inhalers and oral suspension.
This medication is available as a generic equivalent to the brand name Ventolin. However, many consumers choose the brand name Ventolin for their inhaler and want a generic equivalent to the drug.
The generic version of Ventolin comes as an inhaler or oral suspension. There are both generic versions available as inhalers and oral suspensions.
Ventolin works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and increasing the amount of air that goes into the lungs. It also relaxes the muscles that line the bronchioles, which increases the amount of air that goes into the lungs. This increases the airflow to the lungs.
Ventolin is a bronchodilator medication that helps relax the muscles in the airways and increase the amount of air that goes into the lungs. The drug belongs to the class of bronchodilators called bronchodilators II. This class of medications works to increase the blood flow to the lungs, which is a key feature of bronchodilators.
When you inhale the medication, your bronchial tubes widen, which is called a constriction.
The drug is a drug that relaxes the muscles in the airways and increases the amount of air that goes into the lungs. This can be beneficial for patients with asthma or COPD. However, this drug is not a fast-acting drug.
The drug is available as a generic equivalent to the brand name Ventolin.
When using a Ventolin inhaler, you may need to take a dose of one or more of the drugs to achieve the best effect. The dose may be taken once a day. Your doctor may suggest different dosages depending on the patient's response to the drug and the severity of their symptoms.
The typical starting dose of Ventolin is 1 mg, and can be increased by 2 mg every 6 to 8 hours. The doctor may adjust the dosage based on the patient's response to the medication.
Patients may also be prescribed a lower dose of Ventolin to be used in combination with a bronchodilator for quick relief of symptoms.
Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose of Ventolin based on your specific symptoms and needs.
The most common side effects of using Ventolin may be mild to severe. These side effects may include:
If these are severe or persistent, you may need to stop using the medication and see a doctor immediately.
The Ventolin inhaler contains two different types of drug: salbutamol and nebulized albuterol. Ventolin inhalers are usually available in a 90-count bottle.
You may take the inhaler once a day with each dose, and the dose will be adjusted according to your response.
To use the inhaler, shake the bottle well before each dose and carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device.
Do not use more than one dose per day. Do not use more than 4 doses in a 24-hour period.
Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully regarding the use of the inhaler.
are a bronchodilator bronchodilator inhalation (BDE) medication used to treat acute asthma, chronic bronchitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm.are available in a range of dosages, including 200, 400, and 800mcg, which can be adjusted based on patient response.
Each nebule contains 200mcg of salbutamol. It is available in a strength of 200, 400, and 800mcg. The maximum dose can be adjusted to 200mcg for a patient with mild symptoms of bronchospasm or exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB).
For more information, see Section 4.4.
Ventolin Nebules are indicated for the short-term treatment of acute asthma, chronic bronchitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm in adults and children aged 6 months to 12 years. It is also indicated in the short-term treatment of acute exercise-induced wheezing in adults, when exercise-induced bronchospasm does not respond to a short-acting bronchodilator. VENTOLIN Nebules are also indicated for the short-term treatment of acute asthma, chronic bronchitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm in children 6 months to 11 years of age.
The dosage and duration of treatment will depend on the patient’s clinical condition and response to treatment. Tablets, inhalers, and nebulizers are suitable for children with acute asthma, chronic bronchitis, and exercise-induced bronchospasm.
